SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Operation Brown Bag

Blue Santa

Back to School

Tye Police Department, along with members of the community, provide free lunches to those children, who are 18 years and younger and are currently enrolled in the National School Lunch Program during the school year.  Parents or guardians of eligible children must fill out an application.  For more information, contact City Hall at 325-692-8588.
The Blue Santa Program ensures each and every child in our community has a Christmas to remember.  Our officers, along with members of our community, donate funds to the program.  Children who might not otherwise have a Chirstmas, are taken shopping where they can pick out gifts for themselves.  Please help us make this possible!  Contact Tye PD at 325-692-2610 FMI.
Each year, members of the community come together, collect school supplies and donate them to families who are not able to afford them.  This year, we were able to hand out school supplies for children in Tye and Merkel.  If you would like to make a donation, please contact City Hall at 325-692-8588.  All donations are greatly appreciated!
