CRASH REPORTS

City of Tye, Texas

Where it all comes together

Tye Police Department uses the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Crash Records Information System (CRIS).  An officer who investigates a crash has up to 10 days to complete the report and submit it to the CRIS system.  Once it's submitted, it can take up to an additional four days for the report to be processed before it shows up in the CRIS system.  If it has been over 14 days since the date of your crash, please contact us at 325-692-2610.  A fee of $6.00 will be charged for each report.

Please note: Crashes occurring prior to September 15, 2019, will not show up in the CRIS system.  Please contact us for a copy.  A fee of $6.00 will be charged for each report.
